Ingredients:
600g Potatoes
200g
Stuffed Chine, pre-sliced
200g
British Brie, sliced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
1. Peel and rinse the potatoes, then boil them in hot water.
2. Preheat the oven to 175C / Gas 4.
3. Drain the potatoes and slice them as thinly as possibly.
4. Arrange some of the potato slices, edges overlapping, in a single layer on the bottom of a medium sized baking tray and season with salt and pepper.
5. Finely slice the Brie into long strips and lay across the top of the gratin.
6. Lay two slices of chine on the top of the brie.
7. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cheese and chine, forming 4 layers.
8. Place in the oven and bake, covered, for 30-40 minutes.
9. Then uncover the tray until the potatoes are golden brown on top.
