Pin Gin Premium Pink is carefully distilled using a unique blend of 11 botanicals of the highest quality from around the globe, which are combined with the finest grain spirit to accentuate and develop their natural flavours. Juniper is blended with lavender and rose, creating an elegant, floral aroma, coupled with a hint of crisp, refreshing cucumber. This blends seamlessly with the warmth derived from cinnamon and peppercorn, which together result in a taste that is spicy to the palate. Orange and lemon peel provide a flash of citrus, supported by a hint of liquorice and almond. The finished product (our London Dry) is then infused with strawberries. The first tipple to come from Edinburgh's Port of Leith Distillery has arrived in the shape of Lind & Lime Gin. Inspired by Dr. James Lind of Edinburgh who conducted one of the first clinical trials aboard the HMS Salisbury. In these trials, he noted that the scurvy patients eating citrus fruits were showing good signs, hence the addition of lime zest within this gin.To balance the powerful citrus freshness, the distillers also used pink peppercorn alongside traditional juniper and five other botanicals. The result is bright citrus, fresh and authentic; juniper for texture and subtle spice, bolstered by pepper and cardamom warmth.
